Nature Journaling - observing nature, and Natural History Illustration - recording nature, are very much part of my practice prior to creating these 3D felted Australian native animal, bird, and insect collections. It helps me to better understand the form and scale of each species. The personalities of each species emerges through the creation process,, usually once the eyes are in place!

Large size, Australian native animals, made using wet-felted method, weighted up to 500gms with polypellets, some with armature wire legs to enable a sturdy stand. All made to order. They can also be made dry-felted light-weight, made from 100% wool (merino and alpaca sourced locally).
