Woodland birds

These watercolour, pen line & stippling illustrations were completed for the Hunter region Woodland Birds School Education Program 2019 – 2023. Funded through the National Landcare Program and Hunter Local Land Services Project: Bringing Back the Regent Honeyeater: a flagship species for our forests, farms, rivers and woodland birds to help save these species from extinction.

You can listen to the call of each bird by clicking on the play bar below each bird. This is a great way to learn their calls and recognise them in the field.
